A deeper understanding

This module will allow you to define and understand burnout, identify warning signs, causes of burnout and risks for psychologists. There is a focus is on self-reflection and self awareness, to understand and identify ways to reduce your risk of burnout and to increase self-compassion in this line of work.

Reflect and discuss

This is live CPD where you will engage deeply with the content through discussion and role play, and be encouraged to ask questions.  You will be learning alongside your peers and sharing your knowledge and experiences to gain a deeper understanding of the topic.

Dr Alison Bocquee

Alison has been a psychologist for over 20 years, and brings a real passion and wealth of experience to working with children and adolescents.
Alison has worked in a range of government, community, hospital and private settings, and with multidisciplinary teams. Throughout her career, she has established a strong foundation for assessment and intervention for individuals across the lifespan, and with complex presentations. Her clinical expertise includes; anxiety disorders, assessment and treatment of Autism spectrum disorders, as well as adjustment, parenting, and health- related concerns.
Alison is currently the Team Lead overseeing childhood and adolescent presentations, and has been a major contributor to developing clinical standards and governance around this. Alison is STAP Accredited Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and has provided supervision for more than 10 years.
