Developmental Assessments

 2 hours active CPD

Having a solid understanding of the developmental tasks and range of factors that influence and impact on a child’s development is essential when working with young clients. Early intervention can be critical for a range of conditions to reduce the impact on functioning long-term, and in that manner the earlier diagnosis can be made, or red flags identified, the better the prognosis for the young person.

This module is anchored in one useful framework for conducting developmental assessments to provide a structure and process so that you can ensure the young person is linked into the best care and interventions relevant to their needs.
