A deeper understanding

This CPD session delves into mental health challenges faced by new and expectant parents during the perinatal period. We will learn to distinguish between typical perinatal experiences and more severe symptoms, grasp the significance and theory of attachment, and consider the influence of intergenerational trauma. Additionally, we will examine their own assumptions, biases, and triggers in the context of perinatal therapy.

Reflect and discuss

This is live CPD where you will engage deeply with the content through discussion and role play, and be encouraged to ask questions. You will be learning alongside your peers and sharing your knowledge and experiences to gain a deeper understanding of the topic.
