A deeper understanding

Schema Therapy is an integrated treatment approach that makes sense of the complexities of humans; but it doesn't have to be complicated! Schema therapy is an in-depth treatment that was originally developed by Dr Young for use with adult clients with personality disorders. There is growing evidence of the relevance and application of schema therapy as a transdiagnostic treatment approach, and importantly with younger clients. This CPD session you will be provided with introductory and overview material to gain an understanding of this treatment approach with younger clients, and experiential practice during the training to gain skills relating to a small number of key developmentally adjusted schema therapy interventions.

Reflect and discuss

This is live CPD where you will engage deeply with the content through discussion and role play, and be encouraged to ask questions. You will be learning alongside your peers and sharing your knowledge and experiences to gain a deeper understanding of the topic.
